Biography

Mona Ibrahim is Of Counsel at Imua Legal Advisors. She practices general entertainment and media law (including video game law, film law, and music law), entertainment contracts, trademark, business transactions and employment law. She received her J.D. from West Virginia University College of Law and her LL.M. in Entertainment and Media Law from Southwestern College of Law in Los Angeles, CA. She received a B.A. in Sociology and Social Psychology from Marlboro College in Marlboro, Vermont, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Mona has interned with prominent players in the entertainment industry, including Lionsgate Films and The Firm, a talent management company in Los Angeles that included clients such as the Backstreet Boys, Korn, Mandy Moore and actor Vin Diesel. She clerked for a successful entertainment industry attorney for two years and was a frequent guest lecturer at the Musicians' Institute in Hollywood, CA. Besides her blog, you can find her writings in the Course Technology publication "Business and Production for Games: A Gamedev.net Collection".

In her free time Mona enjoys writing (both academic and fiction), swimming, and personal fitness.
